Tempering process is a special heat treatment technique that increases the strength of annealed (normal) glass by four to five times.
This glass is custom made and processed to any glass size or curved shape as required.
This type of glass has following applications:
- store front
- residential window, doors
- sloped glazing
- curved architectural glass
- solar panels
- balustrades
- In elevators
- shower cubicles
This also includes canopies, building facades, suspended glass assemblies. Tempered glass reduces the risk of injury in the unlikely event of breakage.
Our tempered glass is manufactured to the following international standards:
- American Standard: ANSI.Z97.1.1984
- Japanese Standard: JIS R.3206:1997
- We also import tempered glass that meet the rigorous Australian Standards for tempered glass.
Heat strengthened glass is two to three times stronger than annealed glass and is suitable for building facades, skylights, arched domes.
