Laminated glass - Architectural Laminated Glass consists of two or more panes of glass bonded together by a tough, durable plastic Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) interlayer(s).

When broken by impact, laminated architectural glass tends to remain integral in its frame, minimizing the risk of injury from sharp edges and flying or falling glass particles, and strongly resists penetration by the impacting object or person.

Laminated safety glass does not shatter on impact therefore is your best choice for safety from falling glass. It will not cause cuts or lacerations. Burglars will have a difficult time since the glass has to be cut from both the inside and outside. It can even absorb the impact of a flying brick and still not totally collapse.
